Also, check out the "Fanmencos playing flamenco" thread, I designed it just for things like this If you want to put that song there, that'd be really cool. Might even end up being a section on OLnet...

Thanks for the feedback guys!
Yes, Adam, right now it's primarily finger picking major chords and is a rhythmn base for added melodies, etc. Or even put a Michael Manring bass to it to hold the melody. It's in 3/4, which is weird for me to play, but interesting.
I have a few flamenco-ish-style compositions in the works and am working with a bass player on getting them down.
Re: the Jimmy Waller. From the inlay, I read it more closely and it reads "Jimmy Waller model. Custom built for the Chicago Guitar Gallery". Not sure what that is all about, but it's a decent sounding guitar (decent reverb) for having been thrased on it's side and repaired.
The other section sounds good, if I put anything else up, I'll do it there.

Very cool....the hastily made "Duende" that I put up in the FPF thread is a collaboration between me and my friend Seth, flamenco meets rock. He moved to Florida right after we recorded that, though, so all our recording has to be done over the internet now. He just sent me a GREAT rhythm bit, and I'm working on a flamenco part for the song as we speak Good stuff, nice to see Fanmencos are making their own music!

I'm looking to do two upgrades to my studio. One is an Antares Vocal Producer. This is a nifty little unit and is responsible for the succes of all the modern pop singers you hear today. This thing corrects out of tune pitches. It's also responsible for that robotic sound on the last Cher album. Originally, my studio was an instrumental studio, but I always end up doing vocal work for other people. So this would be a nice investment.
The next upgrade is a new 24 track digital recorder from either Mackie or Alesis. I currently have a 16 track digital recorder from Fostex. With a 24 track I will be able to do more overdubs and things of that sort.
Everyone is converting to ProTools. But me, I'm a rebel. Plus I like the old fashioned way of doing things, with outboard gear.
