I notice that at times there are quite a few guests on this forum...I'd just like to state the forum policy on guests, if I haven't already: Guests are allowed, and can view and respond to whatever threads they'd like. They can create new topics in none of the boards. We encourage all guests to register, it's a very quick and simple process, and there are benefits for each side; you can create topics in any board except for Funky Poet and Summer Lovesong (only Naomi, the mods and I can create threads there), and we know who's visiting and posting here, and it makes us look good, too For everybody, keep posting here! Bring this forum to life, tell your friends, mention it occasionally in the OL blog--our goal is to almost integrate this forum with the blog, so we both have the same members and visitors. We would like to function almost as an extension to the blog's comment system, so that we fans have a place to truly get together, as the blog comment threads disappear after a few days We have the blog linked on the front page, in our fancy news header thing up top...lol I really like it, check it out Night all!

Yes, visit as often as you can, things will only get more interesting as more people join. I am looking forward to exploring the topics here and getting to know the fellow "Fanmencos".

OK, I'm giving this another try. I got logged out and then I was confused about what to put in the 'name' field. I guess I will get the hang of this sometime. Anyway, thanks again to Adam and all the moderators for their hard work!

Hey,
has Ottmar ever responded to you on your question about his TAB Books? And the potential of they being "copied" and published here?

Again, you're quite welcome lol this is quite the ego boost... Okay, just playing around with the "quoting" function. I can't believe that Adam is only 14. I'm impressed (and that comes from somebody who's the mom of a 21 and 16 year old...)

14 yrs old? Dude, Adam, you rock! I wish my musical influences were as broad as yours when I was that age.
Great job on everything, man.

Hey, has Ottmar ever responded to you on your question about his TAB Books? And the potential of they being "copied" and published here? I haven't heard a thing from him about tabs in general...I'm not sure what to say, hopefully the members here will have enough decency not to publish the official tabs, but I think it's fine if the board is used as a forum for tabs that people have made themselves, and want to share. I can't find any of his tab books, I know I have to figure the songs out myself, for one...

I have seen Opium printed as regular music, but I have never seen Ottmar's music printed in TAB format. That certainly doesn't mean it doesn't exist, though. For those who are interested, you may want to check and see if your local library has them. I have been very pleasantly surprised at what I can find here in Columbus.

Liz, if I can find OL sheet music at my local library, they will be considered gods Meanwhile, I see no problem in the fans making and sharing their own tabs...
