Thanks, OL. I thought you mentioned those books, saying that you read them in German, that's why. Anyway, "Memories of Hadrian" is one of the books I read at the moment. Victor - time to have a nice breakfast at recommended location + tell us your impressions!

Thanks OL! My wife and I were up in Boulder a couple weekends ago and I was so bummed I couldn't remember the name of the restaurant. We will definitely make a trip their soon (Lucile's) and I'll give a full review for the Fanmencos!

Adding "The Last Opium Den" by Nick Tosches. I just ordered this from Amazon for $1.99 plus shipping. It sounds like a great read.
