I have been noticing alot of TV commercials are using Flamenco music in their ads. The most recent one was for a birth control device. I have counted 3-4 in the past few months. It sort of annoys me because it's treating flamenco like it's a fad or something shallow like that. On the other hand, it's not only an ad for the product they're selling, but maybe some people have never heard of that type of music and they may be introduced to it during that ad.
Any comments?

Interesting topic! I think iPod should use OL music in one of it's ads. Especially since he uses an iPod! Jett has done really well here in the US as a result of those ads. It's a great way to get exposure to a large audience. Moby got noticed because of commercials too.
I think commercials can do a lot to help artists.

There is an advert with an old man showing a kid tricks on his yoyo set to flamenco. Does anyone know this tune?
