Well now this is the best news I've heard in a long time (and I got my braces off today, it's hard to top that!! hehe)!!!!! I'm personally shocked he's coming back up here for the Holiday tour--all of the talk I remember about it said that he would be sticking to the Southwest, Mexico, etc., and at BB Kings he told me that he wouldn't be doing a solo American tour until 2006. So this came as quite the pleasant surprise!! Kiyomi, do you want to come again? hehe Boris, you too this time! OK, I'm off to go jump happily around the house now....

I sure hopes he does Tucson this time. We got screwed out his last tour cause the Tucson date was cancelled, so I really hope he decided to play here.

Beaver Creek, Colorado will make an incredible setting for the Holiday Tour on December 23rd!
Well, the ski towns all fill up around the holidays so best to make reservations for staying there far in advance.
Oddly enough, the West Palm Beach, Florida show might work out for me! Of course, if the Fanmencos are thinking about having a gathering at one of the venues then that would be a fun trip too!

Well, Boris and I have recently been discussed a little Fanmenco meet at the BB Kings show in November.....if any other Fanmencos want to come, why not NYC?

I'm curious myself about my travel plans for the second half of this year. Some things are in suspense but I'm thinking of attending the BB King's show at the end of November seriously. Now that I've made it to the American continent once, why not a second time? But being as I am, I'd like to put this decision away from me for a while. So I wonder how much in advance I'd have to book tickets for such a show. And where? Then I'll have to find a not so expensive place to stay in NYC, not too far away from Times Square as Adam said. Hm. I see myself ending up in Hanoi or Taipeh or Mexicali the day the show takes place, again following it via internet from the distance..............

Oh, thanks Luz. hehe....just kidding Boris, BB Kings tickets shouldn't be a big deal. They weren't hard to get the last three shows I saw there. But then again, this one might be bigger....ticketmaster even ranked it over U2 and some other big shows in the list of big NY area shows, so....

Anybody know how far in advance of the tickets will go on sale for BB King's? Maybe a couple months??
Well, I think getting tickets for the show might be easier than finding a hotel in New York that week - the show will be the day after the Thanksgiving holiday! Makes it convenient for getting time off work but a heck of a time to travel. Still, how cool would that be to spend Thanksgiving in New York (Macy's Parade on Thursday Ottmar's Holiday Tour on Friday)!!

They've actually been on sale since last Wednesday, before OL even announced the show

Luz and Victor - you intimidate me. I never was much into booking in advance. The flight to Mexico I booked one week before leaving last minute. But around thanksgiving in NYC should force me to plan differently. Help!

Hotel reservations and plane tickets should be your biggest problem. BB Kings tickets, you should be able to wait on.

Any suggestions for a hotel in the area that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

Boris asked the same thing, and honestly, I don't know. But NYC is chock-full of hotels, you should have no problem!! Ask Kym about her place, I think she stayed at the Hotel Pennsylvania, about 8 blocks from BB Kings + Time Square. Maybe that would work?
