Hmmm...if rap doesn't work, how about Tango Zen? The Spanish conversation group where I work is going to have a demonstration on Tuesday. I hope nothing else comes up so I can go check it out. ------------------------------------------------- Tango Zen is an innovative yet natural way of meditating while dancing Tango. Referring to striking similarities between the two, this presentation will introduce methods by which Tango dancers and non-dancers can practice Tango Zen to experience the wonderful benefits of both Tango and Zen. Eugenia and Chan Park will present brief background of Tango and Zen along with a Tango Zen demonstration. Chan has recently published a book entitled "Tango Zen: Walking Dance Meditation." Check out the Tango Zen web site at www.TangoZen.com for more information. Chan and Eugenia are known for their unique and elegant style of dancing in close embrace, known as milonguero style, which has been danced in the crowded clubs of Buenos Aires for decades. Their dedication to tango has contributed to the establishment of an enthusiastic and growing tango community in the Washington DC area.
